Spread the Word
Do you like any of the ideas on this site? Would you like to see them implemented? If so, please help spread the word.
If you see an article or page you particularly like, please consider linking to it in a blog article or on a social bookmarking page (such as on Stumbleupon or del.icio.us). When linking to an article, descriptive words in your link text tell search engines what you think the page is about.
For example:
The Evil Doctor Milsted has come up with a cunning plan to brainwash conservatives into supporting a carbon tax.
as opposed to:
If you want see a way to convince conservatives to support a carbon tax click here.
This site covers a very wide range of topics, which makes it hard for search engines to index. Your deep links to specific articles from your relevant articles and link listing pages can do much to bring traffic to your favorite articles, even if the link is on a soon to-be-buried page in a blog article.
General Links are Nice Too!
That said, I greatly appreciate general site links on blog sidebars and links pages! I just figure that such link slots are scarce; too long a blogroll and link power gets diluted.
